Dementium Redmoor Hospital arts and crafts festival!

You may remember back when I posted a couple ofinsane videos made by a man namedRegieshowing his love for the (Game)cock. I just got my hands on his latest piece based onDementiumand I think this one has to be my favorite. It was hard choosing this over the video where the bird gave a dude breasts, but I’ve always been a huge fan of reimaginations of scary monster turned into adorable and happy creatures....

Destructoid Exclusive: Dragonball Z: Infinite World screens

For some reason, we have five exclusive screens of Atari’s upcoming PS2 title, Drazonball Z: Infinite World. Infinite World is similar to other DBZ fighting games, except it features new “Dragon Missions” which recreate many moments from the anime and charge the player with tasks that are’t restricted purely to pugilism. For instance, one of the announced missions involves running the length of Snake Way within a time limit. A similar feature was in the first Budokai, but was ommitted from follow up games....

Destructoid Review: Galaga Remix (iPhone)

What is this? An iPhone game that controls perfectly fine, with no complaints connected to the lack of a d-pad or buttons? I know! I almost couldn’t believe it myself. And a port of a classic game that, again, has no issues or drawbacks to being a mobile game? I’m surprised as you are. It’s nothing against the multitude if iPhone game makers, but I’m sad to say that much of what I’ve been playing/reviewing lately has been poor....

DoubleBear’s ZRPG, a psychological zombie RPG

So, raise your hands if you’re tired of zombies. No? No one? Good. With the exception of perhapsDead Head Fred, the thing about most zombie games is that you spend most of your time slaughtering them. Even the best zombie games (likeLeft 4 DeadorPlants vs. Zombies) tend to use zombies as cannon fodder instead of interesting plot devices. Luckily, newcomer DoubleBear Productions is looking to change that with therecently-announcedZRPG. It’s an RPG....

Dragon Questing part seven: Returning the ball of light

Back in September of 2008, I had the pleasure of playing my first properDragon Questgame withChapters of the Chosenfor the DS. I couldn’t help wonder why I had never played a game in this series before. I’m always complaining about the gimmicks thrown into many modern games and how I’d want nothing more than to just play a modern RPG that stripped away all the nonsense and took things back to basics....

E3 09: Lionhead taking precautions against ‘touching’ Milo

Peter Molyneux knows that we’re a savage group of people. We kick children, shout obscenities, and curb-stomp puppies on a daily basis. So, not surprisingly, within moments of Lionhead Studio’s Milo project being unveiled, many of us has inappropriate thoughts about what we could possibly do with Milo. And so, Molyneux said thatthey’re taking“very, very, careful precautions” to make sure that we don’t have inappropriate relationships with Milo. E3: Insomniac’s Overstrike trailer can have my babies

I’m not the guy who squirms in his chair while watching trailers. I was a pretty cynical and jaded guy before I became professionally consumed by videogames and time has not been kind to my level of enthusiasm. Every once in a while something so personally fascinating comes along and I lose any and all control over my senses.Overstrike, announced today at Electronic Arts’ E3 press conference, has one of those trailers....

ESRB clears PSP Manhunt 2, Rockstar dodges an unnecessarily violent bullet

Rememberthis? Jim “Bangers n’ Mash” Sterling brought you the news of the not-so-shocking hack within the PSP version of Rockstar Games’ interactive torture porn titleManhunt 2recently, and it was assumed by almost everyone that the ESRB would come down upon them with righteous fury only moments later. After all, if the ESRB exists for any reason, it’s to leap from behind the bushes of moral superiority and whack companies on the nose with the rolled up newspaper of public decency....
