Accordingto reports, Sony has inked a deal with Electronic Arts to provide a second Beatles game this Christmas, adding toThe Beatles: Rock Bandwith aSingStargame revolving around the Fab Four. The report was broken by MCV, but the page containing this news seems to have disappeared. This could mean that the someone at Sony asked the site to take it down, or it could mean MCV screwed up and deleted evidence of its foul....
I don’t know ifGuitar Hero World Touris on any of the Christmas lists of your friends or family (or yourselves), but if it is, you may want to take note ofSam’s Club’sspecial price on the game. The game/guitar bundle goes for about $100 at most places, but Sam’s has decided to drop the price to$77.77 for the Wii, 360 and PS3 versions, and$68.88 for the PS2 version. The price is something they’d like to keep that low ,but they say it’s all dependent on sales....

Well Phil was playingKinect Sports Volleyballat 1:30AM and during the game, he smacked the dangling chain from his ceiling fan which hit his brand new TV causing it to break and leave a rainbow LCD teardrop....
According to Sony, the PlayStation 3 is a better deal for publishers when compared to the Xbox 360. Publisher relations VP Rob Dyer has stated that the $299 price point has given the PS3 an edge, and that publishers are now showing their support. “[Microsoft] had a year’s head start against us, so we’ve been playing catch-up ball,” explains Dyer. “Before the price cut, they had a two-to-one advantage; if you were a third-party publisher looking at the index, you should have been selling twice the number of units on the 360 as you would on the PS3....
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marineis getting its free co-op DLC, “Exterminatus” on October 25. The update will launch for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC versions of the game at once, according to Relic Entertainment. In case you never readour preview of the mode, Exterminatus is a four-player survival mode in which players take their existing multiplayer characters and face off against hordes of increasingly challenging Orks and Chaos Marines. The three character classes from the competitive mode are features, with all your unlocked perks and customizations....
It’s undoubtedly been a long,long weekfor the good folks at Stardock. I’m not even sure where to begin, actually. The company had originally intended (and planned for) a multiplayer infrastructure that could handle 50,000 users to be enough forDemigod, at least initially. The plan was to add additional servers along the way, but seeing as how there ended up being around 140,000 connectedusers at one point during launch, everything sort of went to hell in a handbasket....

The Japanese love relationship charts. They have charts that explore the relationships between characters of everything they make: movies, books, games and more. Japanese television shows even use these charts as promotional material, letting new viewers see who loves who, who hates who. Famitsu’s strategy guide group put together a relationship chart for the 35 characters ofSuper Street Fighter IV. It’s all in Japanese, but even if you cant read, I’m sure you’ll get a lot of the relations right away....

Minna no Sukkirimay not sound familiar to you at first, but you may have played some of the series games. We know them here asHot Shotsseries. It doesn’t exactly translate, as “minna” meanseveryoneoreverybody. They are the same games, though, just with a name change that came with localization. One Minna no game we are probably not going to see isMinna no Sukkiri, which meansEverybody’s Refreshment. This is basically a PSP minigame collection to keep your mind fresh and alert....
It seems like all the major fighting franchises are making a revival in some form or way. One of the biggest in the fighting genre,Soulcalibur V, is on the way back too and I got to go hands-on with it.
