I see Silent Hill mobile games as one of those things that are just kind of there — not really great games, but I’m a Silent Hill addict so I’m going to buy them anyway.KnowYourMobilehas announced that Konami will release a third title in the SH Mobile series, coming our way in early 2010. The adventure will be a point and click, alternating with shooting sections where you can take aim at all your favorite Silent Hell denizens....

On April 29, Visceral Games and Electronic Arts will release “Trials of St. Lucia,” a huge downloadable expansion forDante’s Infernothat adds a surprising new set of features. With the new content, players will be able to team up with a friend using a second playable character, St. Lucia, to work through a number of online cooperative trials and challenges. The game will ship with 40 trials: 25 single-player trials, and 15 cooperative....

I’ve seen some papercraft in my day, ranging fromdeliciously simpletocomplex beyond belief, so I’m at this point where I can just kind of glance at a model and know what it will take to go into it. One look at The Tank above fromLeft 4 Dead, and I feel pretty much assured that’d I’d be more likely to slit my wrists with the Exacto than I would to actually make my version look anything like what you see above....

The Warner Bros. owned TT Games has announced that it has extended its agreement with LEGO to create videogames based on LEGO-ized properties through 2016. This year will see the release ofLEGO Harry Potter: Year 1-4, but TT has previously releasedLEGO Batman,LEGO Indiana Jones,LEGO Star Wars,LEGO Rock Band, andBionicletitles. As for what other properties TT could start working with in the LEGO space, that’s up in the air....

Raitendo, the wonderful man responsible forPassage In Ten Seconds, has come back with another suitably satirical game,Libyan Hamburger Recipe. As you may have already guessed, the aim of the game is to make a delicious meal out of cheeky Libyan scamp Muammar Gaddafi. The controls are not the most involved — it’s basically a macabreTrack & Field— but it’s good for a cheap laugh at the expense of a man who wears funny clothes and says silly things....

I like free MMOs and I like cute things, so obviously I approve ofMapleStory. If you already participate in Nexon’s exercise in adorable online frolic, you’ll be pleased to know that a Halloween event is on the way and brings with it a new continent to explore and themed events, among other goodies. The Prendergast Mansion is a spooky new haunted house, and higher level Maplers will be able to battle the Headless Horseman in the new Phantom Forest area....

Right now I’m knee-deep in getting another E3 video edited, so I really shouldn’t be posting this, but it’s just too fun to pass up. Well, thanks to a rather obvious hint from Miyamoto dropped at the star of thisIGN video interview, and the already discussed resemblance the woman shares with Link’s most famous weapon, we can now safely assume that weird looking chick in the artwork really is a sword, probably the master sword....

Capcom is promoting the hell out ofMega Man Legends 3. To celebrate the reveal of thegame’s prototype version(coming soonto the 3DS’s eShop), Capcom showed off about ten minutes of the game in action (seen above, and after the jump). The game’sofficial Japanese websitehas been updated with new music, info, and wallpapers. Capcom Unity has a lot to say about the game too. In the past couple of days they’ve shown off a 3D model viewer of the game’snewly revealed character Barret, aninterview with one of the game’s developers, and look at thegame’s voice recording sessions....

Here’s the latest skitinvolving Mega64based onParappa The Rapper. Derek goes to the streets dressed as Parappa and sings about everything he sees. The video shows off Derek’s skills at freestyling and also teaches us an important fact about water. This actually debuted at the Mega64 Panel at PAX where Rocco revealed that the skit would be part of a musical themed episode for Version 3. From the sounds of it, Version 3 is half way done so there’s a good possibility of Version 3 being released late next year....

4A Games’ take on the whole post-apocalyptic setting,Metro 2033, will offer something we don’t necessarily see very often: a Russian voice option, complete with subtitles for “maximum Russian-ness.” Seeing as how most videogames by default have the sound effects turned up to the point where you’re able to’t hear what’s being said nine times out of ten, I always opt for subtitles when given the chance. WithMetro 2033, Russian dialogue will likely be the way to go, so the choice is even easier to make....
