Nintendo of Europe announced they are partnering with Sky 3D and Eurosport to provide 3D video content via Wi-Fi. Using “Spotpass”, a system for Wi-Fi connectivity, your 3DS will have access to 3D sports and other media content easily. Nintendo is partnering with European hotspot providers so you can have Wi-Fi content access at a lot of places. Even more media partners and hotspot providers are said to be on the way.

“Streetpass” will let you share data between 3DS’s wirelessly, and Mii’s will include data to show nationalities. It looks like a more advanced way of wireless sharing than we’re used to on the DS, but actual practical details are very sparse at the moment.
