Backwards compatibility is cool, but it’s never 100 percent. I think back to that miniature Genesis, the Genesis 3. It can’t play some games. Remember the badass Sega CDX? It wouldn’t play a few titles. And that Sony thing? What’s it called? PSP Go or something. Yeah, it couldn’t playanyof the UMD games I own.

Your Nintendo 3DS is backwards compatible with DSiWare, and the firmware update coming next month will let you transfer your games from your old DSi or DSi XL to your 3DS. But hold on!
