Here’s a new developer diary from Visceral Games forDead Space 2.Producer Scott Probst takes us on a tour of the abilities players will be able to use when they take control of the necromorph menace for the first time inDead Space 2’s multiplayer. Necromorphs have the advantage of being able to see human players anywhere on the map and each of the four types has their own special attacks and moves.
The way they break down the various roles of the necromorphs, they make this sound likeLeft 4 Deadmultiplayer. I’m not saying that as a negative criticism.Left 4 Deadis perfectly fine as a competitive multiplayer experience. But I am somehow left feeling disappointed nonetheless. Hopefully my mood will shift when the game comes out next week.
