Dejobaan Games’ arcade-action-high-score-getting-skydiving-pedestrian-insulting most recent work — which, by the way, isquite good— has now experienced a permanent, 50% price drop from $20 to $9.99.

I know most regular gamers are loathe to spend twenty bucks on an indie game, so hopefully this price drop inspires more of you to go out and tryAaaaaaAAaa!!!. For whatever its flaws, it’s truly an experience you’re able to’t get anywhere else (not to mention, you might actually be surprised to find yourself shouting the first half of the game’s name during some of the more well-designed levels).

December 16th, 2009 – Watertown, MA – Indie studio Dejobaan Games haslowered the price of “AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! — A RecklessDisregard for Gravity” (“Aaaaa!”) to $9.95 to fund production of itsnext game. Featured in Metacritic’s and Gamasutra’s lists of top PCgames of 2009, Aaaaa! is now available from Direct2Drive, GamersGate,Impulse, Steam, WildTangent, and the Dejobaan website atwww.dejobaan.com/aaaaa.

In Aaaaa!, you jump from rooftops to perform stunts, kissing steelgirders and hugging the sides of buildings for points. See that group ofspectators cheering you on? Give them the thumbs-up. That line ofprotesters? Give them the finger. Round that out with a bit of civildisobedience by spray painting government buildings. The game will alsoteach you how to bake cookies using your dead son’s ashes.

Aaaaa! has garnered positive press since its September ’09 launch. PCGamer said it “wowed me with its boisterous celebration of carelessnessilluminated by harsh neon lights… Quite a rush!” Rock Paper Shotgun’sKieron Gillen called it “[A] hyper-punishing, score-chasing laugh riotwhich you will adore. And Mike Rose from Indiegames.com puts it plainly:“Buy this game.”

The studio has released few details about its upcoming 14th title. Afterprototyping a number of new ideas, they say to to expect a spiritualsuccessor to Aaaaa! that incorporates aspects of music generation intoits core gameplay.
