Activision loves to criticize other companies for prices. Bobby Kotick was very vocal about a PS3 price cut, and now the evil publisher has shared concerns for the alleged $149.99 price point of Xbox Kinect and the cost of having a complete PlayStation Move controller. The statement comes from COO Thomas Tippl, who claims to be “absolutely” concerned.

“The bigger the install base, the more likely that you may make sense out of your investment,” said Tippl. “So, the lower the price, the better. In this economic environment, it’s probably more important than ever.”

Ironic words, considering many gamers are quite concerned about$15 map packs, and therising price ofCall of Dutygames in the UK. I agree that $149.99 for Kinect is ludicrous, but of all people to be criticizing, Activision is the one throwing stones in a glass house.
