So, SEGA has been pretty damn quiet onAliens: Colonial Marinesfront, only occasionally referencing it to assure us that it’s not dead. Turns out that, while the publisher was publicly mute on the situation, the developer got very chatty behind closed doors — right under our very noses, in fact.
Turns out that the Gearbox-developed take on theAliensfranchise was shown behind closed doors, with some sort of announcement, at this past PAX event. So far, only leaked mobile phone pictures have been shown, but it would appear that some news on the game — some actual damnnews— is arriving in the future.
I’ve been waiting for this game for a long time, and I’m praying to the Gods I don’t believe in that it’ll take the taste of Aliens vs. Predator out of my mouth. Here’s hoping there is good stuff on the horizon!
