Today, over on Amazon, the Xbox 360 version ofGolden Axe: Beast Rideris on sale for fifteen dollars. I asked Jim Sterling, who reviewed the game when it released last October, if he thought that was a reasonable price to ask for the action title. While he was not sufficiently plussed by the game to recommend people purchase it, he did believe that there was some entertainment value to be had there and that, while the asking price of fifteen dollars was pushing it, it might be acceptable.

I think I may get it nonetheless, though. The $20 threshold for games is just too appealing for me, and I tend to buy anything I’m wary about once it gets below that point. I was definitely wary ofBeast Rider, but I’m still curious and I could use a little bit of mindless beat-em-uppery in my life right now.
