Another weekend sale on GOG.com, and another one of those “holy crap these games are 50% off!?” deals where you find out they are only 50% off if you buy all games that are on sale; the individual titles are 30% off.
However, this time it’s a little bit different. Because this time, the games involved areMaster of Magic,Total Annihilation: Commander Pack(TAand theCore ContingencyandBattle Tacticsexpansions),Total Annihilation: Kingdoms(withIron Plagueexpansion),Master of Orion 3, and best of allMaster of Orion 1+2!

You can grab them all for$16.95 combined, or grab the individual titles for $4.19 each. ExceptMaster of Orion 3($6.99) but you don’t ever want to play that game anyway. In fact, if you just ignore that game ever existed, you can buy the rest of the games for a total of $16.76.Kingdomswas not exactly the bestTAgame either, but for $4.19 it’s worth a shot.
Whatever you do, make sure to pick upMaster of Orion 1+2andMaster of Magic. I cannot even begin to describe how great those games are, or count the years of time I’ve lost playing them. It would have to be something close to the amount of time someone would spend getting five alts to beat Icecrown Citadel inWorld of Warcraft.

I’m thinking about picking up the individual titles minusMaster of Orion 3, because even for the extra $0.19, that game’s only merit is that it coined disappointment for gamers well beforeFinal Fantasy XIIIwas even conceptualized.
