Atlus’ newest title,Rondo of Swords(yay for nerdy musical terms!), is a fantasy strategy RPG with branching storylines, multiple endings, and of course touchscreen control. Savvy gamers will know this as a localization of Success’Ituwari no Rondo.

TheRoSpress release doesn’t say much about the game, but it does talk a bit about the touchscreen combat mechanic. Something called Route Maneuvers allow you to hit all enemies in your path and enhance your attack or defense. There’s also a Momentum Counter that allows you to gain stat bonuses and control who your enemies target

This is great news, as I’ve been looking to stick my face in a portable epic. This looks to have all the trappings of a deep and satisfying SRPG, so we’ll keep our eyes out forRondo of Swords,looking forward to the April 15th North American release date.
