[Update:Bane isnota playable character but rather an ally that fights alongside Batman. Sorry for the confusion.]
After their somewhat (read: hugely) successful attempt at a Batman game withArkham Asylum, developer Rocksteady hasn’t shied away from taking full advantage of the Batman license.Arkham Cityis jam-packed with a bevy of the Caped Crusader’s allies and adversaries.

Both Talia Al Ghul and The Penguin were announced earlier this month and, via theArkham CityComic-Con panel, we know that Bane will join the cast of characters available to fight at the Dark Knight’s side.
It’s interesting to see Bane on this side of the story. It’s not an altogether new event — Bane was always conflicted character — but it’s an interesting angle to take on the villain.

They’ve also released a handful of new screens showing the aforementioned ‘ally’ as well as Catwoman, and the Batman himself. You can find the full panelherefor some interesting talk amongst the cast.
