Bethesda vice president Pete Hines essentiallyconfirmed player reportsthat the English version of the Xbox 360 DLC isborked. He cited that the file may have been corrupted, which definitely explains all the missing geometry and game-breaking hang-ups. Hines also mentioned that Bethesda is “working with Microsoft” to remove the content for the time being.
“We are continuing to look into the issues people are experiencing with The Pitt for Xbox 360,” wrote Hines on the officialBethesda blog. “As of now it looks like the file for the English version on Xbox Live was somehow corrupted. We are currently working with Microsoft to remove the existing file off of Live to prevent any further downloads. Our plan is to replace it with a new file as soon as possible. We hope to have another update for you shortly.”
An anonymous source told us that the person responsible for corrupting the file receive -200 Karma for the dastardly deed.
