A long time ago, somewhere on an Xbox 360 HD that I sold for protein money, my original Commander Shepard sits. He was a rough cat who looked a little like Peter Weller. But most importantly, he was a Space Soldier: the ultimate class in BioWare’sMass Effect. Soldiers can kill whatever, with guns — no space sorcery needed.
The Space Soldier is returning inMass Effect 2, and I hope to resurrect my Weller for the upcoming sequel. Like in the original, Soldiers are for aggressive folks who like to pack a lot of pew-pew spewing guns (particularly Assault Rifles) and special ammo. These cats aren’t flashy: they just kill. The latest video (above) points this out quite well.
