Last week, we discovered thatDragon Age: Originswas sufferinga slight delay, being pushed back to November from October. According to developer BioWare, the delay has nothing to do with quality, and the game has been pushed back so the team can “finalize” things.
“We’re just taking a little time to finalise things,”says executive producerMark Darrah. “We’re focusing on making sure that we bring each SKU up to quality.”

Darrah also touched upon why the PS3 version is releasing after the PC and Xbox 360, but his answer won’t exactly satisfy curious PlayStation fans: “This is just the order we’ve chosen to [release] them in.”
I playedDragon Age: Originsthis past week, but embargoes prevent me from speaking about it. All I guess I can get away with saying is that I think BioWare’s telling the truth when it says the delay isn’t a quality issue. I am alsoreallygoing to struggle with the long wait until November to play this game again.
