I’m struggling to imagine the target consumer for this Swarovski encrusted homage toSuper Mario Bros. Too expensive for kids (that’ll be $600 bones, please, and no, I am not joking), too flashy for teenagers, too cutesy for thugged out gang members and too geeky for their girlfriends. That leaves only…..the Japanese. Since the average Harajuku wanderer likely doesn’t have the cash to spare, I can only assume they will obtain the greens for one throughsweet, juicy underage prostitution.
