Yesterdaywe shed lighton a mysterious new project from Square Enix known asBlood of Bahamut. As theofficial sitecontinues to count down,Weekly Jump Magazinehasofficially revealedthatBlood of Bahamutwill be a brand new DS RPG.
Because the DS needs more RPGs!
This new game will feature four-player co-op, as warriors and sorcerers do battle against giant monsters. Likeidiots, the people of this game’s world built cities on the backs of sleeping beasts. These creatures have now woken up, and housing prices are being driven considerably down … probably.
Ibuki is the main protagonist, a member of the Giganto race — named so because his people reside on the back of a creature who goes by the same moniker. He will be joined by Yui, a childhood friend who is fighting to protect her town after seeing the monsters wake up.
Squeenix is due to show more at the Jump Festa event in late December. Stay tuned on Monday, when theBlood of Bahamutsite officially opens.
