PC gamers, fire up your copy ofBorderlandsagain. Gearbox Software has issued a game update, version 1.3.1, which is available now.

The update includes Steam Achievement support, adding 70 achievements that you may, uh, achieve. 42 of them are retroactively unlockable as soon as you load up a saved game; an additional 12 can be picked up by fast traveling to zones you’ve unlocked, or by earning an action-skill kill.

Additionally, support for Logitech LCD screens on the G13/G15/G19 keyboards has been added. On the monochrome G13/G15 screen you can view your quest log and your friends list, even sending them game invites with the press of a single button. On the fancier color G19 LCD you’ll be able to view your experience level and cash, full quest log, weapon proficiencies, and full friends list as well. Sounds neat, and kind of makes me want to go out and buy the $170 G19.

If you purchased the game via Steam or Direct2Drive, you should get the update automatically. Folks who purchased a physical retail copy can get thepatch online at Gearbox’s site.
