Listen closely, everybody: I’ve got a story for you.
I checked my email at work this afternoon to find that my inbox had been graced with the presence of a forwarded message from Nick Chester, our omniscient and omnipotent Editor-in-Chief. It contained a link to a zip file, and the email mentioned that screenshots from EA Sports’ upcoming stock car racing game,NASCAR 09, were contained in the file.
Not being able to download and open the archive at work, I expressed reluctance to post the shots, especially if there were only a few of them. After all, there wasn’t really any new information in the email from EA — and as you all inferred from mylast poston the game, I’m not the biggest fan of NASCAR. Then again, I don’t make the news, so…
I got home and opened the file to find nine brand-spanking-new HD-res images from the game, in addition to the Xbox 360 cover artwork. And when Nick replied to my email with — I kid you not — “nascar 4 lyfe,” I just had to put this up. Oh yeah, some of you probably are interested in this stuff, too…right? Either way,NASCAR 09is noGran Turismo, but the game looks pretty good. What do y’all think?
