This evidence alone should be pretty overwhelming, but Major Nelson has made sure to cover his tracks and at present, the only trace we have is the original email in our tips inbox. Nice try, Mr. Nelson, but we’ll see how firmly your conscience holds under the pressure ofjournalismthat we are going to use because we are sojournalistic.

We have sent an inquiry to King Major Nelson himself to see if he’ll come clean or deny our accusations. Destructoid will keep you posted. Be a man, Nelson. Confess. Up next, I’m going to post about paper cut-outs I’ve made of things vaguely related to videogames!
[Update:Major Nelson has responded, confirming that YES he makes test posts on his blog that he blogs on! Hit the jump for the full, wretched, disgusting, sordidconfession]

LOL…well, I was testing a Blogging application for my Mac, and apparently it decided to make one of my test posts live. I removed it but not before some folks saw it.
But is that the WHOLE story?

That’s the whole story.
Well done to Major Nelson for coming clean and actually owning up, even if it took him gettingcaught red handedto do so. I’m glad he’s shown remorse for what he did and that he promises it won’t happen again. I mean, he doesn’t explicitly say that, but you may tell that’s what he means.
