Despite the fact that everybody loves to shoot a Nazi, I can’t help but mentally gloss over World War II games. Because of this lack of attention, I must confess thatBrothers In Arms: Hell’s Highwayhas mostly existed in my world as a mere name that has intermittently cropped up over thelast ten thousand years. Funnily enough though, as I watched the above trailer and finally paid somedamnattention, I have to say I’m actually, finally, interested.
Gearbox says the things I like to hear, and I am loving the attention to character depth that seems to be going intoHell’s Highway. Watching some of these chaps talking about the characters, you’re able to tell there’s an actual fondness there. The developers are clearly proud of the soldiers they’ve created for us, and that’s a promising sight.

Only thing that confuses me is the claim that some of the characters are “based on an actual guy … but we’ve changed the name and created our own personality.” So … they’ve based a character on a real person, but changedevery last detail about them? I don’t quite see how that works, but then again, I’m no historian.
