For the longest time, the big question for DICE was “Will PC users ever getBattlefield 1943?” The very answer we so desperately wanted was postponed time and time again. Finally, though, we have some closure: DICE has canceled the game in order to work onBattlefield 3.
Unfortunate, if predictable. DICE general manager Karl Troedssonbroke the cancellation news, and also revealed thatBattlefield: Bad Company 2‘s “Onslaught” add-on won’t be arriving on PC either. Less sad, but still a missed opportunity at any rate.
If nothing else, I’m just glad we can finally move on.
