COPS isn’tquitethe dumbest thing I will admit to having watched once or twice. It’s up there. And it’s certainly not the sort of thing I would admit to having bought a videogame of. I honestly never believed it was a decision I was going to have to make some day.
Yet, here we are. Just released for iPhone/iPod,COPS: High Speed Pursuitspromises to allow you to “experience all the action and excitement from the show right on their iPhone and iPod touch.”
I’m sorry, but you’re able to’t pack all of that excitement into fifteen levels of car chases. At the very least, there would have to be a minigame where you guess what substance a redneck is on to determine if they’re a threat and I see nothing about that in the press release we were sent. And what would COPS be without handling a domestic dispute call? Nay, I’d say this will be a pale reflection of the show.
