It’s common knowledge that our world sort of sucks right now. With the world economy in trouble, the fact that my credit card debt is piling up, and thecancellationofMega Man Legends 3, it’s hard to find things that are amazing. One thing I know for sure, though, is that charity ROCKS and that it’s time once again for Dtoid to participate in the yearly Extra Life marathon!
Extra Lifeis a charity event started by the fine guys atSarcastic Gamerin 2008. Destructoid has been a part of these efforts — last year, the marathon we ranraised over $6,000 in donationsto benefit the local Children’s Miracle Network in Oakland. We are currently on lock for this year’s 24-hour marathon to begin onOctober 15th, 10:00am Pacific. Just likelastyear, we will have afull schedule of entertainment for you with prizes to give away, and all we ask is that you donate some money below!
