Square Enix has lifted the veil on the limited edition ofDeus Ex: Human Revolution. The Augmented Edition comes packed with a 40-page art book, a making-of DVD and an animated graphic novel in special packaging. This edition will run you the standard premium of $69.99 on the consoles and $59.99 on PC.
In addition to these details, we’ve also received two videos outlining the two different pre-order bonuses being offered. The “Explosive Mission Pack” (seen in the video above) is exclusive to GameStop and comes with an additional mission as well as a grenade launcher, remote-detonated explosives and an automatic unlocking device for you to use in-game.
If you don’t want to do your shopping at GameStop, other retailers will carry the “Tactical Enhancement Pack” which includes a double-barrel shotgun and sniper rifle. You can check out a video showing these bonus items below.
TheDeus Exseries is one of the finest examples of the cyberpunk genre in videogames. I’m really hoping that legacy remains intact with this new entry and I want to just go ahead and plunk my money down for the GameStop pre-order but I’m hesitating. Anybody want to try and push me off this fence?
