Earlier this week, Major Nelson hinted at the possibility of select Xbox 360 owners participating in a beta for the New Xbox Experience, the console’s upcoming major GUI overhaul. Today, Microsoft has made good on the promise, offering the first details on how to get in before the update launches on November 19.
Simply head over to thewhere you’ll be asked a few questions about your Internet connection, your location, and more (nothing too personal, we hope). Microsoft will then consider you participation based on what they’re looking for, but will be accepting “a few thousand participants,” so your chances are pretty good.
It’s open to both Gold and Silver members, so give it a shot. You’ve got nothing to lose, and the New Xbox Experience is fancy. Not that I’d know or anything …
