Time again for Discountoid. Generally, as the holiday season accelerates towards its inevitable climax, videogame deals hover right around where they are the rest of the year, with a little more emphasis on family-friendly titles and a lot of accessories. This season is anything but typical, however, so maybe we’ll be seeing things get a little crazier in the coming weeks.

This week? Pretty much what I would expect. If you’re into sports games, Circuit City is offering 25% off several titles. Toys R Us has savings available if you’re willing to buy two games and Best Buy hasMetal Gear Solid 4for 30 smackers, which strikes me as quite reasonable.
