Guitar Hero: World Tourproject director Brian Bright toldJoystiqthat Activision Blizzard is indeed involved in the development ofDJ Hero. This marks the secondconfirmationof the title, but the first public admittance of its existence. Bright was short on the details, but had time to divulge that (shocker) Neversoft has begun work on another title not calledDJ Herosince the release ofGH: WT.

Activision’s doing a DJ Hero game, and I can’t comment on what we’re doing. But…we’re working on the future and next gen. If I wasn’t excited about it, I wouldn’t be there.
There has yet to be any official confirmation from the game’s alleged developer FreeStyleGames (B-boy), but if there ever were a developer to doDJ Hero, it would probably be them. Paul Oakenfold,a supporter of the title, could not be reached for comment by press time. Instead, I talked to my cat. She was also unable to comment.
