Doujin games, or Japanese fan-made games, are great fun if you know where to go to get them and have recommendations on what to try. There’s an almost endless supply of games from just about every genre out there. While it may be hard to enjoy most of these without Japanese language knowledge, the shmups are pretty accessible to everyone. And now they’ll be even more accessible thanks to Rockin’ Android.
This Los Angeles-based publisher already has four 2D games lined up for distribution here in the US. PC gamesSuguri Perfect Edition, Gundemonium Collection, Flying Red Barrel: Diary of a Little Aviator, and Qualiawill be available via digital download and DVD this summer, complete with English translations. On June 30th,Suguri Perfect EditionandQualiaboth launch — both look great…and hard.
The one I like most isGundemonium Collection(pictured above),set to release this August. It comes with three games:Gundemonium ReCollection, GundeadliGne, and Hitogata Hapa,and looks to be absolutely insane. Check out a video of the insanity after the jump.
