I’m told thatDragon Age: Originsis more than just a demonstration of how to look awkward while getting down. It’s also, according to local scuttlebutt, a very popular “role-playing game,” a genre notable for its storytelling techniques and extensive gameplay density. I might have to give one of these newfangled amusements a spin at some point.
No time like the present, apparently. Bioware’s award-winning überfantasy is Amazon’s Deal of the Day. The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions have been reduced to $39.99 while the PC version gets a slightly less impressive discount at $34.99.
As always, it’s a one-day promotion and supplies may be limited. Not a bad value for what many have considered one of the best games of 2009.
