We’ve been looking forward to the first Squenix venture on the Wii since it was originally announced, but after watching this clip, I have to think it seems like theDuck Huntof roleplaying games. Perhaps it’s the brevity of the clip or the fact that they show nothing but the sword slashing mechanic, but how can you actually base an entire game around something like that?

I want to think companies are above filling the Wii with gimmick titles just to generate profit from a recognizable IP, but then I step into a game store, see half a wall full ofSpiderman 3,TransformersandPirates of the Caribbeantitles, and suddenly teen suicide seems glamorous again.
