I knew theKorg DS-10music software for the DS did some cool things, but I never thought it would interact with the human mouth.
It wasn’t really made to, but with the quick addition of a drinking straw, some tape, and… a mouth, and you’ll have something close to a talkbox, or a voice modulator. The video above demonstrates the construction and use of this mock talkbox, complete with raver shades.

How this works (simplified): A change in mouth shape filters the sound being funneled through the straw from the DSi’s speaker. There’s plenty of ways to make a makeshift talkbox, but this one is the coolest yet. I’m going to try it later… when no one is looking.
