Call of Duty 4— the latest in Infinity Ward’s war-as-interactive-cinema series — has recieved the public trailer treatment thanks to E3, and you can catch the whole thing in the above clip.It’s refreshing to see that not only are they abandoning the overused WWII backdrop in favor of modern warfare, but they’re also not jumping into the one-game-away-from-cliché Middle Eastern conflict setting. Placing the entire thing in neo-Cold-War climes gives it an air of creativity, and fills me with the urge to watchRed Dawn.WOLVERINES!
