I don’t know if the soundtrack for a game has every truly been “hotly anticipated,” but if one had to choose the most “hotly anticipated” soundtrack to a game ever it might just beBrütal Legend‘s as the entire game is about rock and/or roll and features a plethora of heavy metal music stars who would make the soundtrack truly epic. Now that we’ve established that the soundtrack is indeed “hotly anticipated”the newsthat EA Denmark seems to have leaked the songs present in the game should get you pretty excited. The Denmark branch of EA posted the song trackson their site, revealing that the game will feature over 100 songs from legends of metal.
You can check out the list below the jump, but there is a strange lack of Iron Maiden in the game for some reason. There’s plenty of Ozzy, Riot, Ratt and Judas Priest though, so I think it’s safe to say we’re all going to have some pretty cramped necks from headbanging non-stop. Can’t wait until Rocktober.
