Following anearlier reporton the massive success of theBattlefield: Bad Company 2demo, DICE is back with some fresh new stats. The number of downloads has been upgraded from 2 million to about 3.5 million. Insanity, I tell you!
Other crazy-high numbers include: 500 million overall kills , 100 million vehicle kills, 15 million knife kills, 30 million destroyed vehicles, 10 million head shots, and 25 million revives. I’m pretty sure Brad is directly responsible for half of that mayhem, and he doesn’t ev–oh wait, we’re talking aboutBattlefield, not real life.
It’ll be interesting to see how many of these downloads translate to purchases. I guess people weren’t bluffing when they said they’d drop support forModern Warfare 2in favor ofBad Company 2.
