I hadn’t heard of THQ’s upcoming Nintendo DS battle/puzzlerDropcastuntil the screens and fact sheet just landed in our mail box, but I’m definitely intrigued. The game features a maladjusted little girl who brings her imaginary stuff animal friends to life, teaching them devastating magic spells.
OK, so this closely mirrors my childhood, which would explain my interest. But I’m also all about the games that — like Infinite Interactive’sPuzzle Quest— merge puzzle gameplay with role-playing attack elements. I’m easy to please — put me in front of some colors to match and I’m golden.

Dropcastfeatures a number of different game modes, including single-cart sharing for up to four players. For sure, I’m keeping my eye onDropcastas it nears itsSeptemberrelease.
