Fans of comics books and classic beat ‘em up action should already have their eye on Vogster Entertainment’s upcoming download-exclusive PlayStation Portable brawler,Unbound Saga. The title follows the adventures of the self-aware comic book characters Rick Ajax and Lori Machete, as the two battle thugs, werewolves, and whatever else their omnipotent creator, “The Maker,” can throw at ‘em.
Designed alongside the experience eyes of the folks at Dark Horse Comics, it only makes sense that theUnbound Sagatie-in comic book is now available. Delving into the backstory of Rick and Lori, the comic book sets up the forthcoming PSP title, with writing by veteran Mike Kennedy (Star Wars,Superman, Alien vs. Predator) and visuals brought to life by Cliff Richards (Buffy the Vampire Slayer,Wonder Woman) and Al Rio (Gen 13,DV8).
The books also feature pin-up art by Leinil Yu (Secret Invasion,New Avengers) and Steve Pugh (2000 A.D.,Animal Man) which we can share exclusively with you today. In two words, “they’re hot.” Rick fights a shark with his bare hands, which is about as bad-ass as any one bad-ass can get.
