The world will become a better place on April 29th, as that’s the dayMade in OreandAsobu Made in Orewill see a simultaneous release on the DS and WiiWare (in Japan). Nintendo just launched websites dedicated to the two games which can be seenhereandhererespectively. Both sites are in Japanese, but theAsobu Made in Oresite (the second one) has video on it’s openingpage. TheMade in Orevideos can be found righthere.

The videos are fun and all, but without context information they’re a bit misleading. They make the games look like regular WarioWare titles, but they’re not.Made in Ore(the DS game) allows you to make your own micro-games from scratch. The music, graphics, and gameplay are all yours to create.Asobu Made in Ore(the WiiWare game) allows you to play these games on your TV. Both titles come with a bunch of mutually interchangeable micro-game samples, (90 for the DS title, 72 for the WiiWare title), so even if making stuff isn’t your thing, there’s still plenty of new WarioWare to go around.

Made in Orealso allows you make your own music and four panel comics. In other words, this game is so totally awesome that I can hardly believe it is real.

The one thing Nintendo hasn’t told us yet is if these player created games/songs/comics can be up/downloaded to internet. If not, that’s going to put a serious limit on how much content we’ll have available to us. Nintendo has promised to periodically put new micro-games online themselves, but I couldn’t dig up any further details on their full online plans as of this writing.

Hell is Us gameplay reveal

Full online support seems like an obvious feature for a game about creating and sharing original content, but this is Nintendo we’re talking about, so nothing can be assumed. Please Nintendo, don’t screw over the word of WarioWaretwice in one year.
