As you can see, Manny Pacquiao is having a very bad day in EA Sports’ upcoming boxing game, therecently-announcedFight Night Champion. The title, which is due out sometime next year, already looks like it’s going to have much better damage modeling than its predecessor,Fight Night Round 4(not thatFNR4was a slouch in the visual department, mind you). Check out the game’s first three screenshots, which feature Pacquiao versus Winky Wright, in the gallery below.

I’m very happy to hear thatChampionwill have a completely revamped career mode, since the “Legacy” career setup inFNR4got old after a while. And an expanded roster (“60 to 65” compared to 50 or so inFNR4) is always a good thing. Hopefully, we’ll get a look at the game soon.
