Early last month we learned that classic RPGFinal Fantasy IXwasconfirmed for Japan’s PlayStation Network. Great news, though it’s not a confirmation of a U.S. release. It’s worth nothing that in only one month’s time Square Enix has announced that development work on the game is done. Atwitter updatefrom Square Enix Members’ Japanese account says that it’s done already.
The tweet also says that fans can expect an update on the game as early as next week. Maybe Japan will get a solid release date.
I don’t know how long they were working on it before, but I’d love to believe that it only takes a month to get these things wrapped up for download. If that truly is the case, then where the hell is all of my favorite PS1 games?
