Even though it wasn’t announced until now, we were certain that the west would also be seeing a Limited Collector’s Edition ofFinal Fantasy XIII. It’s official for Europe, and we’re waiting to hear more about North America’s soon.
As I guessed before, the included soundtrack is not the full 4 discs, but a selection. The included “Original Sound Selection” was made by composer Masashi Hamauzu. A hardback book called The World of Final Fantasy XIII will also be included. On top of that, three collectible art prints depicting some of FFXIII’s summons are packed in. Finally, a collectible decal featuring, or a sticker, will be included. All of this is packed in a presentation box.
No price was given, but this edition will be available at launch.
