Prior to today, I acknowledged that yeah, I would likely purchaseModern Warfare 2on November 10 of this year. But my excitement for the game was nowhere near where it was forCall of Duty 4. However, after seeing the first snippet of multiplayer footage, I take that all back — I’m officially pumped.
The video, which can be found after the break, shows some of the different killstreak rewards forModern Warfare 2. This time around, instead of simply having a few different rewards for getting X amount of kills, there are significantly more, and you’re able to “personalize” them, apparently.
The killstreak bonus shown in the clip is pretty freakin’ rad, if I do say so myself. After eleven kills, you get to be the gunner of an AC130, as depicted in the image above.
I’m extremely curious to see what the other unlockable killstreaks are, but there’s plenty of time until November and Infinity Ward is going to undoubtedly give us bits and pieces of info rather than divulge everything at once.
