Fractured Soulis a new DS title from NV3 Games and it looks like it might be worth looking into. It’s a shamelessly retro 2D shooter, sporting some pretty classic gameplay. However, there is an obligatory twist, as players switch between both DS screens in a notably cool way.
Each level is split into two different maps. As players control main character Jake on one screen, a ghost of Jake performs the same actions on the other. Players can then swap between screens, trading positions with Jake’s ghost.
There are a huge amount of screenshots, plus a video that was sent to us in a 480×720 format. Seriously, it was a massive tall oblong. We put that video after the jump with its original dimensions. It’s f*cking ridiculous.
