Donut Games is one of my favorite iPhone developers. It does a lot of “casual” stuff, but it consistently demonstrates that “casual” doesn’t have to mean “crap”, andSuperstar Chefsis a fine example. This arcade-style platformer has been free since the dawn of time, so you can download it whenever you can. I highly recommend that you do, as well.
Playing as a whimsical chef, the aim is to collect fruit while avoiding water, spikes and a number of bizarre enemies. It’s pretty simple stuff, but it can be damn tricky, especially if you’re going for a three-star points ranking. The vibrant graphics and bouncy music certainly helps as well.
It’s always been free, at least for as long as I’ve seen it, and it’s well worth having. Check it out and let me know if you like it too!
