In before “OMG, it’s called ‘Rock’ Band, not ‘country’ band LOLZ.” Say what you will, but the country music genre is one of the most popular in United States. And with that, more than a few people should be excited about Harmonix’s upcoming retailRock Band Country Trackpack, which ships on July 21 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
This isn’t the first retail track pack available, but theCountry Track Packis special in that it’s the first to contain tracks not previously available to theRock Bandplatform as DLC. While the tracks will eventually be made available as DLC on the Rock Band store, if you want to espouse the virtues of knowing when to hold ‘em and knowing when to fold’ em, you’ll have to pick up the pack. There’s 13 of these exclusive tracks to be exact, including Kenny Chesney’s “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy” and Kenny Roger’s “The Gambler.”
As with other track packs, the songs will be exportable to your hard drive for use inRock BandorRock Band 2; the $29.99 track pack can also be played on its own.
