Professional troll Gameloft is at it again, and this time they were ‘inspired’ bySplit/Secondfor their upcomingFast Five: The Movie: Official Game—Fast Fivebeing the fifthThe Fast and the Furiousmovie.
The sad thing is that the trailer actually makes it look better, in terms of graphics, than theSplit/SecondiPhoneandiPadgames. Whether it’s actually better or worse in terms of gameplay is something we’ll have to wait and see though.
If you intend to make a statement against the continuous rip-offs, you could just buy theSplit/SecondiOS games instead. But then you may also be sure that Gameloft will later say “See, we even raise more awareness and revenue for the games we rip off!”
It’s a lose/lose.
