Poor, poor Bill Murray. It was so hard on him in the early days. I can totally relate. I am far, far more funny in real life than I am on this blog. Yes, sir, I’m a veritable fount of comedy gold in person but I just can’t seem to be funny on the site. Bill’s suggestion would be an adequate solution, if you’re so inclined.
The Destructoid staff did what it does passably this week: We played videogames and lots of them. Read on for an account of the games we played and tell us what you’ve been up to this past week in the comments.

Bennett, C.:OBSESSED WITHZUMA BLITZOH MY JESUS GOD.
Also, a wee bit ofDiablo 2with friends, for about the tenth time since the game came out. Nostalgia!
Devore:The Tempura of the DeadandEnslaved. Best week in a while, I’d say.

Chester:Just finishedAssassin’s Creed Brotherhood, playing a bit of theBlack Opscampaign, and a lot aZuma Blitz.
Holmes:Tempura of the Dead,Mario Vs. Donkey Kong: Miniland Mayhem,Black Ops,Syobon Action, Sports Champions, Eye Pet, Pokemon White, Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop, Super Crate Box, de Blob 2, Darkspore, Microbot, and some other stuff that I can’t remember.

Great week.
Sterling:Black Ops. You saw the review. You know what went down. Been playing both versions ofSonic Colors, obviously, and you can read their respective reviews for what I made of them. Also playingThe UnderGarden, which is fucking great and should be at least demo’d by everybody with an Xbox Live account.Faeryis another XBLA game that came out this week, and I have been enjoying it. It’s an ambitious project for what it is, and some minor snags aside (especially the poor English spelling), they did well.
Finally, I am slogging throughThe Ballon Steam. Solid game, a little dull in parts, but it becomes terrifyingly frantic once the monsters show up.

Razak:Plenty of Bond and my bachelor party in New Orleans. My brain is mush right now.
Zimmerman:Tons ofZuma Blitz, the newCSIgame for review andThe Tempura of the Dead.

Toletino:Finished up onFallout: New Vegas, putting down a save right before the turning point so I can switch sides to get the different endings. Then I booted upFar Cry 2and finished that. It’s got a lot of flaws, but has an interesting narrative and a few great twists. And now the Gamefly people have delivered a copy ofBlack Opsto me, so I’m wondering whether to go ahead with my plans to purchase the PC version.
Concelmo:Got 100% inKirby’s Epic Yarn, which made me very happy. I love that game so much. One of my favorite of the year, in fact! It puts such a huge smile on my face.

Also startingCastlevania: Lords of Shadow. I am at the very beginning, so can’t judge yet … but it seems okay. The screen is so busy, though. Like, there is so much going on and it is hard to focus. Also, what’s up with the “dagger count” numbers being so dang small? I can’t read them!
