Today, Ubisoft announced that Altair would be making a special appearance in their upcoming game,Prince of Persia. It’s not Altair in the literal sense — it’s a skin. In less exciting news, you can also have the opportunity to download the protagonist fromSands of Time.

To get the Altair skin, you’ll have to do a bit running around. First, register at Ubisoft’sofficial website. Then, after purchasing the title on December 3, you’ll need to head back over to the site and register your gamertag or PSN screen name in conjunction with the game. You’ll probably be prompted with a redeemable code for the outfit at this point. If you want the classicPoPskin, you’ll have to pre-order at your local GameStop to get a code that probably won’t work the first day the game comes out.

If you aren’t excited about the newPrince of Persia, you probably should be. It has an awesome art direction and featuresa non-invasive sidekick. I want to believe it, but I can’t seem to drink enough to wipe those memories of Natasha from my brain.
