The originalGhostbustersflick needled its way into my consciousness. I can’t step into an elevator without thinking about cosmonauts or roaches and I definitely can’t stand on top of a skyscraper without conjuring up the image of a giant bipedal marshmallow lumbering up its sides. With the release of Atari’sGhostbuserslooming just as large, my focus on everyday tasks (eggs without possession, please) have become even more burdened by silly thoughts.
Today, Atari released more screenshots of the Wii and Nintendo DS versions of the game. The Wii version has a visual flair. It’s certainly noAfro Samurai, but the stylistic interpretation of Egon Spengler and company is impressive. Hamzagot his hands on this versionof the game earlier on his Atari preview tour and he seemed to like what he played of it.

I’m cautiously optimistic about the Nintendo DS version. It has a dated look if not a dated approach. Checkout Hamza’s previewfor more information.
